So this is an interesting picture. Going back to my roots with this one, since my first picture that I commissioned shoxxe to do was a picture of Toon Link in LAMA gear. This time, we've got Link and Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gearing up for a dive in the East Reservoir Lake just east of Zora's Domain. You can see that Zelda is rocking her BOTW 2 hairstyle. That's because this picture takes place after the events of the first game. Link and Zelda are diving below the lake to check up on Divine Beat Vah Ruta, which retreated back into the lake after Calamity Ganon was defeated. They're just about to head under the water, as soon as Zelda can get her fins on and put on her helmet, though it looks like she's having some trouble.

As for how they have this gear, well I'm not going to say. Just wait for the story to come out... eventually.

Now this is one of two colors that I have for this picture. The other was done by The-Sakura-Samurai who has posted this picture on his page. This one was done by ZeFrenchM , who offered to color it for me for free. I am not going to get into this further, and please don't ask me why I got two different colors. I really don't wanna talk about it.

Also, this picture was made in celebration of the 35th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda! Yep, it's been 35 years since my favorite series of video games debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System. A lot has changed since then, going from a ball crushing, confusing as fuck adventure game, to what we have today as one of Nintendo's premier intellectual properites, and one of the most beloved series of video games in history, right up there with the likes of Super Mario. I am very excited for what the future of the series holds, and I really can't wait to hear more about Breath of the Wild 2, especially after we got confirmation from the recent Nintendo Direct that we will be receiving news of the sequel later this year! It's a great time to be a Zelda fan!

Anyways, I hope you like the picture. I certainly do. ZeFrenchM did a phenomenal job! I love how shiny Link and Zelda's wetsuits are, and I love how he made everything look in it. Thanks, dude!
