Description
This was during an exchange of supplies and troops off a helicopter in Afghanistan. The soldiers in the background are waiting to take the place of the supplies being offloaded. Something that always strikes me about photos like this is that the soldier standing with the rifles in the middle will probably never know this photo was taken of him.Related content

It looks like I'll be transferring to a photo specialty after all. Thanks for the interest, I'll keep you posted as I'll find out in about a month, and put it up in the Journal when it's all finalized
