Description A vector comic strip that I created in Inkscape. This is the introductory first strip for a comic series that I'm starting: Bunker Babies. Set in the far distant future, mankind is just now starting to return to the surface after aeons underground, avoiding nuclear fallout. It's a comedy series about life in a post-apocalyptic time, written and illustrated by moi. I just finished page zero today, and have quite a bit written, but not illustrated yet. Look for more to come. Hope it makes you grin more, at the very least.

Full view, please! I promise it looks better that way. For those that don't know already, vector graphics, such as this one, can be scaled infinitely in either direction (Although scaling down to less than a pixel will look the same no matter how low you go...). The uploaded image is actually an indexed copy of the original, so there is some slight dithering, but I think it looks rather nice, don't you? If I decided to print the series one day, I'm not sure if I'd want to put in the undithered copy, or the one that looks like this, but at print resolution... Oh well, a conundrum for another time, when I actually have enough to print. XD

About the address/url in the bottom right hand corner... I'm planning on getting the comic hosted on Webcomics Nation and use a redirect to shorten the url to the site. Of course, I need to get enough pages illustrated and the site design done first, but that's probably what the url will be when it's ready.

BTW, right when I finished the text above, dA went into read-only mode for maintenance before I could submit the image.

Well, grin on, loyal lackies, and I'll catch you on the flipside soon.

Thanks for the compliment!  Vector art, so it's always smooth unless the output gets compressed.  XD
