Description
Finally done, it's taken about 6 hours. The Achenor Method (3D) is a revolutionary gun design used as a support weapon. The Achenor uses two unique attachments never seen on the battlefield before, perspective and multi purpose scopes along with a rotary quick reload magazine (ARM=automatic reloading mechanism).
The scope uses night vision combined with thermal imagining to allow a single image to be viewed by the user. Since night vision and infrared both have advantages over each other, it makes it more effective because when combined the bright images given off from infrared scopes are perfect for seeing people and the night vision allows viewing of equal thermal energy objects where the thermal imaging can not. The scope is also perspective, so you can easily see differences in range from two points, a similar concept to having two eyes or binoculars.
The ARM is a simple device to allow quick reloading. The advantage it has over large bag or box magazines is adaptability. The ARM frame can be removed to be used basically as an assault rifle instead of a PMG (portable machine gun, basically a smaller LMG)
Standard 5.56x45mm rounds.
each quart magazine has a maximum capacity of 55 rounds for a total of 220 rounds.

in the 4-tube rotary configuration, a full ammo load in that weapon would bring it's weight up by close to 20 pounds. An empty M16 is about 8-9 lbs on its own, so you're looking at a rifle/ simulated LMG that weights as much as a 240B LMG... plus without a forward grip or any effective place to hold the thing up, I'd suggest limiting it's use to being mounted on vehicles. I really like the design, but that's simply way too much ammo for a rifle. The one-tube design looks spectacularly cool, man!

i believe i wrote in the description that it is both an LMG and an AR. as you can see in the image one has a bipod and four magazines while the other only has 1 magazine which is used as the grip (kinda like a horizontal mp40). the normal weight i think for an lmg is around 20lb+ so i think this would qualify as the norm.
thanks for the compliments

what I'm getting at is that 220 5.56x45mm rounds would weigh 20 pounds on their own, not counting the weapon itself. The thing would be way too heavy to carry and use for the average soldier, not to mention cumbersome with 4 of those tubes dangling from it's underside.

Fallout style! hell yeah!
They've already got some pretty innovative "power armors"... except they're not really armors, just stilts with motors.

Yea i'm just kidding about joining. The Army is a very serious thing i don't believe i would just enlist just because there is a new shiny toy. I don't plan on going into the military though.

Some ppl noticed the ammo size, I think thats correct, because its look like the 5.56.
I think the most simple solution to rewrite the description
Btw...
When you use so glossy reflection its a good idea to use a "reflection override " map for example a HDRI image. You will have a normal enviroment reflection AND a good for ex. a dark room reflection with some people or else, that really good looking, and you mut not make a room with ligths and etc. (sry for my bad english)
Add some lights too, the scene is too dark (ambient lights, back-lights...).
BUT!
The model is well provided, really good topology!

Thanks i fixed the spelling. Andi dont think i can do HDR imaging in my program unfortunately.

What kind of program do you use? In Studio Max there are some easy way to fake a "real" enviroment. Just google it up, many answers!
I cant help in other programs

Nice design, but let me appoint that the 7.62 x 51 is much bigger and bulky than this needle-type ammo that you show here. Besides to the weight that the ammo and the weapon would have.

Thanks, yea i noticed earlier because spyder told me (Look at below comments) and i thought i fixed it but i guess they're still too small.

I still keep some (empty) 7.62 x 51 cartridges. Those bastards of bullets had an amazing energy and was perfectly able to trespass a thick target at short range (or a human body). You could also consider to design your bullets as 5.56, that's smaller (but much worse in the sense of making much worse wounds...) or even take the concept of the bullet "without" cartridge that was started by Mauser in the lat 80's... Anyway, your design rocks !

Thanks, i usually use 5.56 rounds for my guns, but my old/new concept here eliminates alot of problems of the casing but creates alot of problems of its own.

it's hard to explain how it works but once you rap your head around it it should make sense.

Who wouldn't prefer a mech? But mechs aren't much use when room clearing or in covert ops, and therefore I make sure I have a good personal arsenal.

Thanks, you dont really hold the LMG version (the one with 4 magazines) because it's to heavy, but the AR version you hold the magazine as a grip. similar to the German MP40.

You can hold one of the bipods, the magazine or the grip above the magazine.

Yea sorry, it is actually pretty difficult to handle, but the LMG is to heavy to carry in the first place and the AR version has the magazine as a grip.
