So this week on the "Old Stuff I found on my Hard Drive and decided to Finish": This!

With my own projects stagnating more than the economy after the '73 Oil Crisis, I decided to upload a few more miscellaneous mock-ups to appear as if I weren't dead.
Some of the more eagle-eyed among you might reckongnise some parts of this image and indeed, you'd be correct (assuming you are thinking of the correct thing, of course), this is the same background that was used (in parts) for "Shadow Rising Reinedgening" 's RAGE 2016 spin-off "Shadow Boom Rising". Now, how comes it's back now? Well, originally the background wasn't made for it, but merely repurpoused, can't even remember what it originally was for, I just happend to have it on my hard drive, before my PC broke. So, to cut a short story shorter, I recently found the files again and decided to finish it. My original idea and the one I concluded was one of a port (or harbour, if you are so inclined), build into the foundating rocks and sand, made out of mere framework, while SBR's version used pretty much the same idea (since it fitted), no foreground pieces from there were reused here.

As for the image itself, here's a breakdown of the resources and their sources. Starting with the background, the sky originates from Contra Hard Corps' Stage 5 (in the "best" ending run), as ripped by me, once we go underwater, the background (or what you can see of it) is made out of 2 major sources, Sonic CD's 3rd Special Stage, ripped by the helpful Violet/Shiro/DarkChaoX, and Megaman The Wily Wars' Mega Water S Stage, my rip again. The foreground is made out of 2 parts, the supports, which came from SonicDash57's Wing Fortress Zone rip, and the ground, taken from parts of our old friend BadBatman3's rip of Megaman X's Launch Octopus stage. Also, special thanks to ZanaGB. You see, the nice hologram monitor in the first place may be completly original drawn by me, the idea however, comes from their 2011 image of a similar concept (link here: fav.me/d4g6icf ), a holograph that shows an item above it. While it's a shame it was never used in anything, her spirit lives on though this, of which I can give you the spritesheet if you ask nicely.

That's about it for this time, hope I can finally finish DVD's giveaway price soon, it's been bugging me for far too long already.
