I liked it too, there were great humorous moments in it! If I may ask, what is your opinion on the inbound finale and the.. "Discussions" it entails regarding a certain purple unicorn?
I'm not sure what to call RD's father/brother/whoever, I was honestly indifferent to see another member in Dash's family. :S

I think I'll like it. I think that Twilight's personality won't be any different, and she'll probably be a terrible flier, which she will demonstrate by doing something adorable. Fanon-wise.... Dear Celestia. I have a fanfic that I've been working on for nearly a year now, and depending on how Twi gets the wings and what history of the alicorns is revealed, I'll either only have to make a few adjustments, or the whole thin could tumble down like a giant tower made of Legos. Either way, Twilight will still be my favorite pony.

That's a good way of putting it, people seem to be seeing the worst in it before it's even aired. Hehe, and I hope you're right that she demonstrates she's not good at flying by doing something incredibly adorable.
And fanon-wise, yeah things are gonna be a bit stirred up. I don't think it'll change much with my projects for the moment, but we'll see.

Rainbow did have some of the best moments in this episode. I wasn't quite sure what to label it as: a Twilight episode? A Rainbow Dash episode? A Crystal Empire episode? Just a Main 6 episode in general? *shrug*

It's pretty hard to say who the main focal character was in this episode, but I'd be leaning towards saying it was a Twilight and Rainbow Dash episode.
