The outline is a bit weird though, like somebody cut of a piece of the dark part

In overal it's good. Maybe you could do some opacity changes to the outline, on the point where it goes from dark to light... if you know what i mean. I could show you what i mean, but i'll need your clearance to change 1 frame of the animation to comare it if you want
