I love Rayleen in this picture, but I do not like the background

Because Rayleen is beautifully lit, but the background is far to bright and flat.
There is a green pattern on the wall that clashes with the red colour along the bottom of the couch she is sitting on.
There is a big space on the top right of the frame with a bare wall, yet the picture behind her is centred, it could fill this space.
The left side with the bookshelf and green wall makes the composition too busy on one side.
