I had this idea about making a 'portrait' type of commission, like so, where I add a frame and small backdrop around a half-body character(Customized to the buyers liking)
I decided to try it out when asked me if I could draw her character, since I was bored and didn't know what to do.
Omigosh, I can't believe how much fun I had on that background!!
I just love the caribbean water... Hope it looks accurate enough!
