I cannot iterate enough how much I love the rounded feminine qualities you retain while drawing a lot of muscle, it is awesome! Now I do not know if this might seem an insult or an offense ( I do not think it bad at all) but her face reminds me of Katy Perry, with a clear wide gaze that seems both innocent and alluring. Very good job

Thank you. Yeah, I'm a fan of Frank Cho and other similar artists. I'm fond of that gymnast form where the woman is fit & muscular, but still curvy. Kate Perry is quite the compliment, I love that sort of baby doll face. Thanks again.

I like her face- very sensitively drawn, also her hair and shoulder are good. Good stuff!

Do I really deserve this compliment? I mean, thank you very much. Yeah, I like a little baby fat on the face, hold over from my first.

If you want I can criticize the rest of the figure, but, yes I think the face is really well done.

No, no. I'll take the compliments, thank you for that. Oddly enough, it hadn't occurred to me there'd be such a response. Suprise.

Whenever you do a picture of a major label character, or you do a color piece you always get more response I have noticed. So double whammy.

If I didn't have Photoshop Hellements I'd make more of an effort with the color.

Yeah, I did a piddly little sketch of Wonder Woman and Powergirl and those were pretty popular. Maybe I'm dense but it just surpises me how zealous the fans are.

I don't know if the arm is too short, but that left hand needs to be doing something.. yeah.. I know where your mind went. I steered it there with MY mind.

Very nice work did you ink with a brush?

MrPlaid81 In reply to hardbodies [2008-07-31 00:16:51 +0000 UTC]

Kinda, I used a micron 01 and a PITT brush pen. Thanks, btw.

PITT brush pen? what's that?

It's a Faber Castle pen with a brush tip. I usually draw the width of the line weight then fill it in with the brush pen. They're not slick enough unless you dip them in water or something (which I haven't even tried but seen).

heh yea, I agree=] I think if you bring the left cheek in a lil it'd make her face look a lil less chubby, and seeing it colored I see why the arm is how it is, good job=] Didn't think you'd take it this far=]

Neither did I, but, flats are pretty easy. Adds a little something to it and people are more drawn to color that linework.
