My 1911...Custom grips are a result of a contest I won on You Tube...

I was in TX last year, enjoyed myself but felt a bit naked...I cant conceal carry until I'm a citizen in most states, I carry a knife at all times though.

Yeah I live in the middle of the city.
No permit needed to have it in my house, just have to pass the background check to buy it and you're good to go here in Texas.

I believe in Minnesota you have to apply for a permit (which could take up to 7 days I think) and then if you pass the background check and get the permit you can then go buy a handgun. I don't think this applies to rifles and shotguns in Minnesota though. To be safe you might want to go ask a local gun dealer, he/she can definitely tell you what you need to do.
