Bold of you to assume I'd actually draw out my girlfriend's sona for this ref.

She's MC in this story, and this beeg boy *slaps his chest* thats gonna be her partner (both ways *wink wonk*)

A futuristic story with ghosts! I'm planning on maybe drawing more out, this isn't the only design of robots that exists in this world! They all have varying designs, based on what the robot wants (though it also depends on their occupation!) Not all robots are this big, some of them are normal sized or even smaller. But bot cops are often very large.

Exorcists and Mediums are special human beings with spiritual powers. They form a natural shield and barrier to haunting zones. Normal humans and very weak/weakened mediums will have their life force sucked out. That's why haunted zones are quarantined once found. Since Mediums still need to be protected from projectiles of volatile spirits (chairs, glass, and other things), robotic companions are sent in to protect mediums. Not just from spirits though, but from criminals as well.

This future is not a Utopian or dystonia. There are good neighborhoods and bad neighborhoods. Everybody has vehicles that hover, and almost everything is automated. Robots normally do the work that doesn't involve human interactions. So Humans are still mostly clerks, waiters, doctors, and other things- Robots are just made for ease of life and dangerous jobs.

Robots are also programmed to have human interests in mind. They are programmed to be alert and feel major discomfort when a human is in danger or is hurt. This s due to hundreds of years of programming and gathering of Data of what and how to react to certain situations. Bots that hurt humans are normally made by other humans, which never had Father AI's programming or AI installed. And therefor are rouge bots. They are immediately destroyed and the creator is captured and put in jail.
