Wanted to take a small break from commissions and do a colored sketch for myself!

The Unicorn protects and raises children who were abandoned in the forest, or had lost their parents. Humans have tried to poach him for his hair and horn, and in the end he was blinded by hunters. Though its not common for humans to hunt unicorns as it's forbidden and even brings bad luck to the hunter and his family for generations. People have often gone into the forest to ask for blessings, he doesn't ask for anything but people often bring things like blankets, trinkets, and toys for his children.

Though he doesn't have any biological children of his own, the ones he takes care of consider him their father. Once old enough, they leave the forest, or help him protect it. The ones that leave often come back with gifts as thanks.

He's been alive for over 400 years, and has taken care of many children. From humans to mythical creatures.
