I hate how you draw something and to your eye it looks fine in person, but then you scan it and it loses some quality... like suddenly you see mistakes you couldn't before!! anyone know how to help with that?Related content

There are optical effects in real that a scanner really spoil. It could sound dumb but ¿Have you tryed with a digital camera?
The other way is to use digital coloring.

ok, camera sounds good.. i used to use cell phone pics and i felt like somehow i was hiding behind the low quality..
