Description

Aún conserva unas características orejas más propias de los cerdos domésticos que de sus antepasados salvajes cumpliendo solo con un rol estético. Las hembras suelen tener una gran cantidad de crías; en un solo parto son capaces de parir hasta diez lechones y suelen permanecer junto a la madre hasta alcanzar los siete meses de edad. En esta etapa de los bermejos machos forman grupos entre hermanos donde por medio del juego desarrollan sus habilidades para competir por las hembras en las épocas de apareamiento.
