hope you like it, please comment and have fun!

Very nice concept, although RF's meshes rarely look good/natural without a liquid-like shader. Except if you're willing to have 5 million polys in the scene just for that

thanks!
yeah, iΒ΄ve tested some shaders, but the hole scene doesnΒ΄t natural, so i decided to take something abstract/unnatural. this one here i liked most, so it was the winner^^

I definately know what you mean! Having some nice meshes and being unsatisfied with the shaders is a brainstorm nightmare.

dadurch, dass das "gespladder" nich im direkten "sichtfeld" der lichter is, sind kaum glanzpunkte entstanden, haben aber die renderzeit extrem hochgeschraubt..deswegen hab ich se weggelassen

Really? What's your processor IntelCore i5?

MrSchmetterling In reply to SMOKEYoriginalHD [2012-01-20 19:12:49 +0000 UTC]
yes, really.
my processor is an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T (intel is too expensive )
but the resolution of the emitter wasnΒ΄t too high und the settings of the particle mesh were quite low, so it was quite quick...the renders took betwenn 30 and 50 minutes for each
