From what I can tell, no. If it was War Thunder, then the coaxial machine gun to the side of the main tank cannon would be longer. It is my assesment that this magnificent individual literally painted a Sherman tank near-flawlessly.

As an annoyingly-obsessive tank buff, I can say that there is far too few distinguishing features for this to be classified as anything beyond a standard M4 Sherman that isn't the M4A1. It's also 100% not the M4A2E4 torsion-bar prototype either, the driver and assistant driver's hatches didn't have the welded plates on the front them and the right cheek appliqué armour wasn't present, while it is here. My best bet is that it's a bog-standard M4 Sherman, no A model, or an early M4A4. Few M4A2s and M4A3s were manufactured with the type of hull hatch shown here, and M4A1s obviously had a cast upper hull.
Excuse my annoying nerdiness, I just can't help myself.

It also looks like an unmodified Firefly turret with the plate to its right side.

The A2E4 did have something similar to the front hatch plates but it wasn't the front hatch plates like on here. Considering I know he plays world of tanks or is familiar with the tank he could have based it off of an in game sherman model.

The M4A2E4 has the same hatch-type, but without the welded-on panels to increase their protection, so you're right about the hatches being similar. Also the plate on the turret was an interim present on both Fireflies and standard 75mm Shermans; it was welded on as the turret wall was thinner there to accommodate the gun's traverse and elevation mechanism. It too wasn't present on the M4A2E4, largely because the prototype was never upgraded to field-standard in testing.
As to the World of Tanks part, this particular tank bears a striking resemblance to the M4 Sherman in War Thunder over World of Tanks, which would also be a possibility for MrScroup to play since he visibly is interested in aircraft too.

Yeah. I knew he most likely took it from some tank game. And you understand the reasoning why u thought it was the E2A4 unlike some people who would just claim I'm stupid instead of legitimately commenting useful knowlage. +5 to you sir.

I've heard of it, yup. Panzer IV with sloped armour, though I've done a little searching and I can find little consensus so far on what it actually was; fictional, real, or even as someone proposed, a Panzer IV Ausf H/J experiment. So yeah, I've heard of it but I have no idea what to make of it.

jeremeymcdude In reply to Erebus-11 [2016-02-09 13:49:06 +0000 UTC]
Aperantly it was a proposal for the H model. It seems like after seeing the success of the T-34 that they would try sloping the armor on the panzer IV it may have extended it's usefulness a bit longer allowing the Germans to perfect the panther a bit more

oddball52 In reply to jeremeymcdude [2016-02-05 05:49:11 +0000 UTC]
I'm pretty sure they all used the same basic suspension design except for the E8 with the wider tracks. The M4A4 variant has extra angled armor plating in front of the driver and radio operator that give it away as a later production or a refurbished model as well as the two little side plates on the gun mantle. some of the other welded hull variants received the extra armor plates but it is seen the most on the A4 That particular variant is slightly longer than the standard Sherman because of the unique Chrysler A57 multibank.

The M4A2E4 was an M4 experiment with torsion bar suspension.

Sorry for the long link, can't shorten it on my phone. But yeah this is a torsion bar suspension on an M4 sherman. All M4s had some form of spring suspension. The

no problem and a prototype design no wonder I haven't herd of it. yeah torsion bar is a good suspension system but requires more material and a slight change to the design probably why we didn't use it much. The standard design was a spring double bogie system. Nice to see someone else who knows there tanks.
