Well, I am sure very glad you liked it. I am working on the other parts but in the meantime, don't forget to also watch the tutorials David Ward made on the game engine on Blender cookie. Also, I have come across this user, goran, on the blender artist forum and I haven't watch them but I think he is also doing a great job in the tutorial area.

Thanks for the feedback and have a great week.

well to tell you the true, i would never even taught about making a game, but when i saw your demonstration on youtube, i got very interested, and i think its not too hard to make game in blender, its all pure logic, everything you said there makes sense. i will check out that tuts that you recommended, who know maybe at the end i make something simple hehe.. but i just want to tell you that i wait for your tutorial since i like the way you teach, you go all stages, you even include some parts that are not nessesery to know in the tutorial, but that may be useful in some point when doing these kind of stuff. thank you once again, and i can't wait to see some more vids.

have a great week as well mate!!

I am very touched that you liked my tutorials that much. I wanted to make this series very complete and general to be sure to deepen the understanding of the BGE as I didn't find any tutorial on my researches that was really explaining the under the hood. And a lot of them where using methods that, after personal research and trial and error, I wouldn't recommend at all (like location in motion to make a character move).

That said, even if I am glad to make those in depth tutorials, I am always a bit scared when I see the duration on my videos. Because let's face it, so far I have made a total of 45 minutes of video and we only have a character that can jump and walk.^^' I fear this extreme duration might discourage some new users.

All of this to say that I am glad that some people like the attention to details I give and are not repulsed by the duration of my videos. It gives me more confidence about them.

Don't forget to poke me if you ever do something.

acctualy i modeled today some low poly charachter and i attempt to rig it now you are my main motivation, i realy liked your tutorials, and i watched 1+2 part, one after another , witch means that it doesn't matter they are long, when they teach you all things that are necessary to make something cool and creative. And i watched also on blender cookie David Ward BGE tutorials + rigging tutorials witch are also great tuts, and i figured out how to make my charachter walk when i press key watching them so your links were extreme useful.. but as i said before, i am waiting for your tutorials, since you really go step by step and cover everything. But i have one advice, if id make tutorials i would do like this. First tutorials would be detailed like yours in this phase, to let users learn everything from scratch, and later tutorials, you should straight away jump to some advanced stuff, so people who watched your previous tutorials who know all that stuff don't get borred, and i assume that the newbies like me at the moment would watch it from the part 1 and then as they learn they will know what you are talking about in the some later parts of your tutorial series. You could only mention maybe for example.." i won't teaching you in this tutorial about basics, since i covered that in my tutorial number #(some number)". p.s when i finish this small project ill show you what i have done, it wont be nothing special, since the main purpose is practice
