Such an old work. About 3-4 months ago, I was so impressed with the dolls I saw in Akihabara.I came back home I drew and colored this pic roughly from the image I have in my head...I want them to be...like an old painting. Pure and lonely, just only two of them in the lifeless island.[I don't know that you can feel it or not >_<]
It was left uncompleted in my comp for so long...[as same as a ton of sketches I drew --_--"]
I suddenly miss them, so I want to finish this pic...Anyway, this's just a part of full version. Still need to work more a bit on the bg before submitting the full one.

Volks dolls are always superb, I'm happy that they inspired you to make such a beautiful picture! I find it even more pretty than the dolls themselves are.

It does look gorgeous... although, both of the faces look identical (as in, exactly identical... even the lineart is the same, right down to the wider part of the lips XD;; One does have paler skin than the other, though...)
I suppose it is intentional, though-- make it look more as if they belong together. It's really sweet. (: (And I love the colours)
