Description I know that lonely tree pictures are an old subject, but as I always like it, we just had to stop the car when we found this one yesterday on our way to Castle Wachesen.
The somewhat strange colour of the corn comes from a hole in the clouds.
The weather was just strange, too.. Rain and Sun where changing nearly every ten minutes...

I hope you enjoy the picture, even if you have seen similar ones before, but as you can read in my signature, I stopped to care about that

I love simple compositions like these
I wish that it was sunnier though, but the gray sky adds some mood to it also

What a great shot. Veering off from most mediums of the concept, the entire shot as a whole gives it a greater sense of that isolated mood. The sky gives it a great effect, and the composition is so well made. Great work!
