Cheetah Cub KillThis very young Cheetah Cub shared in the small kill provided by his mother. She gracefully caught a small rabbit wondering by. Initially the cubs just played with the rabbit before finally eating some of the meat - quite possibly their first taste of it - as they were not weaned yet.

Wonderful photo. I remember seeing two male cheetahs make a kill while I was in the Serengeti Plains. One brother licked the other brotherβs face clean to get all of the blood off it - was an amazing experience

I think the part in the picture that strikes me the most is the blood on his wiskers. Just like :IsacGoulart: said, it's "a stark contrast to the cute and tame feline photos we are accustomed to seeing."
