Cheetah Cub KillThis very young Cheetah Cub shared in the small kill provided by his mother. She gracefully caught a small rabbit wondering by. Initially the cubs just played with the rabbit before finally eating some of the meat - quite possibly their first taste of it - as they were not weaned yet.

Wow, now this is a great shot of such a momentous occasion.
First kill, first taste of blood, and the first taste of meat that will
set this cub on it's path to understanding the importance of it all
should it hope or strive to survive the dangerous nature of the wilds of Kenya.
Outstanding capture and the best and only way to shoot wild life is with a
a state of the art camera and a very powerful zoom lens ...for shooting at a safe distance.
