Rumbling MatriachWe were privileged to be amongst this small herd of elephants at Nkorho Lodge in the Sabi Sands.
There were a few youngsters but the herd was very relaxed and drinking water from a small muddy hole.
You could hear the amazing sub-sonic rumbling communication that took place between them as the pecking order and some bullying determined who got their share of the water first.
I love elephants.
