I much prefer the color rendition. It has a magical feel to it due to the colors, the beauty of the animal and the rain drops.
The B&W is too contrasty for me -- in that is detracts my eye from the subject and the beauty around.

the coloured one is better...
the b/w version has too much contrast in my opinion while in this one the contrasts are easily shared upon the entire photography
