This is the painting I submitted for a Spyderco knife art contest. It was dad's idea that I enter the contest because he wanted a free autographed knife. I won, and now he will get that knife [and sell it for $$$] As for my cut? I get a free eat-anywhere meal. It's like getting a good report card, right? ...Right? My Centofante model knife painting will be the image for the month of July in the Spyderco 2011 calendar!

As you can probably tell I did a little photo shoppin where as I touched up the brightness and contrast a bit because the scan turned out muddy no matter how many times I scanned it. Do you think it looks too obviously filtered? This really is an improvement on the original image.

In conclusion: Props to me! > This is the first real arty thing I've done in about 6 months, I reckon, and it won me a contest!
