Not exactly a cold day in hell here. The villainous Apep and two of his prize creations Heket and Sekmet-Seker enjoy a day of (self) heart removal, with the Grandmaster himself presenting his Ptah heart that wields a sheer magnitude of unearthly power. What plans Apep has for Earth's fate, one can only dread!

So yeah, my belated seasonal Valentines picture, and perhaps it was appropriate that it didn't get shown on the day, besides a few commission endeavours taking me away from the internet scene that is. You may recall this was initially sketched out during my livestream session a few weeks back, so good to finally get this one sorted.

Of the many images I could have settle on, I decided to go with something dark for a change contrast to the past decade of Valentines tomfoolery. As a point of interest to those familiar with my works, the name of this painting a direct mirror of an older Valentines picture depicting Genma Visage's most notable couple, Relicia and Seker. Basically, I'm bored of the common imagery presented in some of my past pinups, such as Seker being some amnesiac mute lucky enough to bag a hot sorceress if not a harem as a sideline to his quest of self-discovery. Now that the comic has revealed his true fangs which was the true idea all along, not to mention detail more of Relicia's chaotic nature, I intend to roll more with this imagery from now. You try different things in the concept stage and once you come full circle you realise what works with what. Tahiya and Karti will inherit some of the mushy companionship you've seen before in Lust of the Marid, whereas Relicia and Seker's relationship will to be continued on the basis of the horror comic that they star in, more so if Apep above has anything to do with it.
