Better run for the hills, Orcs, well and beyond that of Mordor at least!

This was a commission i did last year for a Gentleman who I met at a convention the year before. Asides from general Medieval Lore and Fantasy, he's an avid fan of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings and collects Replica weapons from those movies. He basically wanted me to design an image based on the poses he provided, so that he could have it painted onto a wall, and then have the corresponding weapons he bought mounted where they are being held as depicted here.

The Dwarves were based faithfully to the recent Hobbits trilogy, left to right being Balin, Dwalin, Nori and Fili. The only addition being that Dwalin would have Orc-like skulls and a tartan kilt attached on his person. Red blood smothering them was also insisted, which admittedly had me pausing mid-way through sipping a coffee at the time of reading his feedback.

Overall it was a fun project to work on and to work on a larger scale did take my breath away i will admit. I'm hoping to see the final spray painted wall soon. I know my jaw will drop.
