Just wanted to doodle a bit and draw one of my characters again.Because some people say my species reminds them on foxfans.
Guys, they have fan tails, that´s why.
Please use your eyes and commonsense then you see they are not foxes or even similar in behavior, traits and drawing style.
It is shit to blame my species for having a fan tail just because there is another famous one which has fan tails too.
I don´t blame people for getting reminded on foxfans seeing another fan tailed animal because those are more wellknown by now because everyone seems to want one.
But still, you are doing good when you start reading too.
I really getting sick of people who just look at a picture, not thinking a second and not even reading the title or the text below the image and spill out their first thought.
If you can spend a second posting a comment, then you sure also can spend a second on viewing the title or logo of my species. Thank you~

I feel so bad for you about people who criticize Fantsunekos because they do have distinct differences to Foxfans - I mean, Fantsunekos are cats to start with! People on DA don't have rights to objects such as fans, so why can't others use them in a design? I don't see the problem personally but that is just my observation. I love both Foxfans and Fantsunekos. :3

I also liked both for a while until the species owner started to ban people who are having a fantsuneko or be mods in my group, then my liking for that species and their people faded.
I don´t know, I personally think now that some people can be real scambags, they tell you and some others that they accept fantsunekos or other fan tailed species but then they let their folk harrass und bullie us in a point that we leave DA. They already succeeded on the caudaeri species and I think fan tailed ponies also got into abondonement after they were harrassed too but the species owner is still active and kept their species. The species owner was stalking my account and watching me to see if I do things they don´t like to see and told me they wouldn´t do it for that reason but they also didn´t say what reason they were watching me for all the time.
Then they or their admins banned people from their group only because those guys didn´t draw someone's foxfan but wanted to prefer to wait and get an own foxfan, and they banned and blocked one of my mods who also liked foxfans a lot but didn´t do anything wrong. Well they may have their own opinion but how they act doesn´t make sense to me and is nothing but rude, that´s why I also blocked them from my account and my group, I don´t want anyone of them to try to harm my species or art anymore with false copyright claims or anything like that. If they try that again, I will sue them because false copyright claims are against the US laws.
I think they really try everything to somehow get rid of any fan tailed species so they can have a monopole on it. And when you catch them they come with big tears and excuses.

It's funny you should say that, because Foxfans have a DTA contest on at the minute and I did ask if I could still participate even though I have a Fantsuneko, and they seemed to be totally okay with it. But then, I've seen your ban list etc. and it really is such a shame that some people from the group are still going for you! I mean, nobody is copyrighted to fans. xD I really hope that eventually the air clears and we can all just enjoy both species! I've seen a lot of species that have similar characteristics - like waterdogs for example, there's many other species that have parts of water in them that are dogs, but I haven't seen any drama over that yet.

From some other people I heard waterdog fans are some of the worst. I thankfully never got any trouble because I made an Ocean-Wiesli, one of my waterdog-similar canine species LOL
But whatsoever I dunno, I never was really into waterdogs so I can´t tell.
I am glad they let you perticipate. I have seen the DTA journal and they have some really nice ideas like adding and changing the traits to experiment on the characters.
The DTA event of them was after this whole shit of banning my mod and some other people I know. Maybe they have learned something, I have no idea. I just can hope they did because I think it is sad when people be butthurt and act like total idiots over others like that.
Radiance-of-triia is still banned from their group and blocked by their species owner, they didn´t even tell her why.
But that´s what I meant, belliko themselves told me that they don´t mind fantsunekos or their existence or something yet they go on and ban fantsuneko owners randomly from time to time. I don´t know if this keeps going on still, I hope not. After I made a long journal about why I blocked belliko, this seemed to have stopped- for now.
I am just waiting to have something weird happen again because I am sure sooner or later something new comes my way.

Oh dear, I will do well to avoid all of the drama going around! xD I agree, I hope that perhaps it will all die down then - I mean, if anybody was going to object to me entering the contest, then that was the time to say it, but there was no issues at all. But whatever happens, you hold your ground and don't ever give up the species. They are plenty of Fantsunekos fans out there who also support you! c:

Indeed, I made really many new fans but also new friends thanks to this species.
And I am really not one of the guys who give up so easily. Especially when i didn´t do anything wrong.
I am really glad they treat you well. I care for my friends and group members and harrassment from any side is not tolerated. If you ever get issues with anybody because you own a fantsuneko, you can report them to me and we will ban them from our group and you should report them for harrasment to deviantart, that is no fun but it is better to do that so other people see that this is a serious issue and shouldn´t find any grounds.
I just hope they won´t do these things again, not to you and not to anybody else because it is just pointless.

OMG STANLEY'S SO SASSY RIGHT NOW. I can imagine that he's on the border between the fantsuneko lovers and haters and he's sticking his tongue out at the haters. He could also say, "The fan side is cooler. We got a tree!"

There's also a breed of chicken called a Japanese Bantam that has a fan shaped tail.

Well I think sooner or later they will see their acting is pointless and leads to nothing.
Usually people grow up after a while and learn that they can´t stop other people from making something they personally don´t agree with.
I just find it stupid to bully someone over another fan tailed species. We are all artists and we all somehow live here on DA and show our art.
There are more than 100 people out there who like both species and other fan tailed species too and think that their characters can be friends or something, so some species owners and other members should be so intolerant over their own fans and ban them when they have other fan tailed characters.

They really are XD Mine is so funny. She's all aloof like most cats are, but she's really sweet about it. It's kind of like she's saying "Yeah, I'm better than you, but don't feel bad. You tried your best." XD
I couldn't have said it better myself. Why can't we all just get along? Honestly, there's so much opportunity in the fan-tailed species community. I mean, if we'd all just put all the "copying" aside, we could really create something together. It'd be so cool if the species all came together and created one huge, tight-knit community. I hope one day that will happen.

It shouldn´t be built a wall from my side. What I want to say is that I am open to that, I stated that more than once by now they I personally always welcomed other fantailed species and their designers in my groups or something. A species collab between me and the others always was a nice impression.

I remember seeing these species for the first time, I thought they were another rip off of fox-fans until I found out they weren't foxes but cats. Then respected your species and didn't comment about a rip off of fox fans until I read the species guide and found out they were a different species.
Its sad how people still think they're a fox when their really a cat with a fan-tail.

I have made fanzells once, they had a fan tail AND wings made of fans, they were weasels and somewhat different because of that, even belliko said the wings make them unique but some foxfan people called them rip-off LOL
