Description This is just part of my massive Disney VHS collection. Believe me. I have over 200 tapes. Anyways, these are the Walt Disney Classics releases. They ran from December 1984 to March 1994. Now I don't have all of them. At least not yet. The one tape I do have but is absent is the 1986 VHS of Alice in Wonderland that comes in a cardboard slipcover case. Now how long have I been collecting Disney tapes? I started in 2007 but I sold off my original collection in 2011. But many months later, I started regretting my decision. So in September 2011, I ended up with two good things. One, a Nintendo 3DS and a copy of Star Fox 64 3D. And two, the start of my current Disney VHS collection. It also seemed that my luck with finding rare tapes increased as well. The reason I say that is because I ended up encountering an original 1986 VHS of The Sword in the Stone at a Salvation Army by my house at the time. So of course I ended up buying it because I didn't think I was ever gonna see another one. Then a few years later, I go to the Goodwill that's over by the grocery store I work at and I ended up getting another Sword in the Stone VHS from '86 but it's the reissue that came out when Sleeping Beauty made its home video debut in October of that very year (To be clear, I mean 1986. Not 2017. Just thought I'd say that) Sadly I can never find the original 1986 VHS of Sleeping Beauty because it's pretty hard to come by. Oh well. That's what ebay is for. Speaking of which, that rumor about Disney tapes being worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars is 100% false. That's great because that means I won't have to pay an arm and a leg for the 1984 VHS of Robin Hood or the 1985 VHS of Pinocchio. Both of which are extremely rare. So yeah. That's my Disney VHS collecting story.

I see a rare VHS copy of "Pinocchio" with "The Classics" logo on the side cover that it looks like it was released in either 1990 or 1991.

Yes. But do you HAVE to call it that?

I don't know what else to call it. That is what it's notorious for and why it was used for such a short time.

I gues I could call it the controversial 80's cover.

Well outside of The Purge movies, yes.

Horror movies aren't really my thing.

The Purge series is the only exception

Great collection!  I have that slipsleeve of Alice In Wonderland. Bought it on eBay for $3, I originally thought it was a bootleg, I since learned it was a super rare early release of AIW. It came out before Disney thought to invent the The Classics collection.
