Ms-chowder:
Silentbreeze padded up to Wrenflight. After Moonclan had attacked she had noticed a few things that didn’t feel quite right.

She had spoken with Tinypaw and the she-cat had given her the news she was expecting.

But now she needed to talk with Wrenflight, they hadn’t spoken much recently and she wasn’t sure how to bring it up, it seemed like such an awkward subject, but with Fireblaze already entering queen-hood it would only make sense that she should follow.

Silentbreeze didn’t see herself as a motherly type, but what was done is done.

“Wrenflight” Silentbreeze purred, rubbing up beside him.

Wrenflight sat at the edge of the clearing, he had just returned from a hunting trip with a grey pebbleclan tom whom just the thought of left a bitter taste in his mouth. He began to wash the cuts on his face and legs in the warm glow of the early green-leaf sun. He paused his brief wash as he heard his name being called.

“Silentbreeze” Wrenflight smiled, his mood lightening. He turned to look at her with inspecting eyes.

“I’m glad to see you’re not too injured from the battle.” He remarked as he pushed himself up to his feet and gave her a lick on her cheek.

“Anyways,” he continued, “whats up?”

Silentbreeze glaced sadly at her mate’s injuries, in a way she was a bit ashamed that she wasn’t injured in the recent battle.

“Wrenflight, I need to tell you something, and I need you to stay calm.” Silentbreeze murmured seriously.

She knew Wrenflight was very protective of her, and with their clan in the middle of a war she didn’t know how he would react to the news that she was carrying their kits as well.

Wrenflight’s smiled faded as he listened to his mate.

“W-why? What’s wrong?” he questioned his tone coming off a little edgy. He stared at his mate expectantly, something wasn’t right and he had to know what it was.
Ms-chowder:
“Ok. Ok.” Silentbreeze took a deep breath..

“I’m carrying our kits.” She murmured into Wrenflight’s ear, before glancing around a tad panicked, hoping nobody else heard.

Wrenflight’s ears and tail drooped. “What . . ?” he breathed, kits? Now? But Moonclan . . kits?

Wrenflight nervously took one step back and looked at his mate. “Oh Silentbreeze..” he murmured pushing his muzzle into her cheek, “that’s great news” he purred, his ears perking up and eyes widening. “I’m so happy!” he beamed, waving his tail, “But, I’m never going to leave your side now love, not with Moonclan lurking around” he pointed out, pressing up against her side.

Ms-chowder:
“I assumed as much,” Silentbreeze purred happily, sticking her head under Wrenflight’s chin.

“Thank you Wrenflight” she added, “I love you, let’s hope Starclan ends this fighting quickly. I miss having a camp of our own.”
