There have always been dynamic duo’s, Batman has Robin, Bonnie has Clyde, Itchy has Scratchy and in the grand scheme of things Paul Vanzella has Jo O’Brien. But all is not well in the last partnership! Claiming creative differences Jo has chosen to go it alone and left Paul in desperate need of a new partner in crime. Knowing that these are big shoes to fill (well Jo didn’t wear much else) he put out advertisements for a new partner, all the usual places, exchange and mart, autotrader and swingers monthly. He tried Mel Brackstone but they ended up fighting over who was gonna get the camera, and for a little old lady Mel fights dirty. Just as he was about to give up and become a lone gun available for weddings and children’s parties a new girl breezed into town. She was sassy and a little bit classy, with the line ‘I’m here to kick ass and chew bubblegum! and I’m all out of bubblegum!’ Paul was smitten, his new muse had arrived. - Written by Andrew Walker - [link]
