It's a really good picture. I almost didn't use it b/c it shows Anne not looking very pathetic, but the image was the best 1 I could find for the costume comparison. I didn't realize until I read Antonia's Frasier's book, "The Six Wives of Henry VIII" what Anne was doing in that picture. She was paying the executioner his fee . Some of that would also go to charity.

I don't understand why they don't have the stone block for her. Tho, at least they were more "accurate" than "The Other Boleyn Girl." In that 1, they got a long shot of Natalie Portman STANDING UP when she gets her head whacked off . Every1 knows the accused always got down on their knees & placed their head on a stone block first, for crying out loud.

some people are not as smart as we are
lol I read the 'Other Boleyn' girl book and saw the movie and I don't think they did Anne justice. Made her seem like a total B****, but I think she was an amazing woman who didn't put herself beneth men. She saw herself as equal to a man, if not smarter. I believe that also affected Elizabeth's reign( im not sure how since she was very young when anne died but perhaps through stories of her mother or maybe just because she was Anne's daughter). All in all, she was an amazing woman.
