Whereas the superlight buggy is meant to carry only two passengers with some spare tires and fuel, these midlight trucks are built with a cargo bed and towing hitch for moving supplies in rough areas. 2 spare tires can also be lashed vertically to the roll cage just in front of the rear struts. When moving through hostile areas some steel doors are hung to protect the cabin and a standing gunner defends from a roof mounted turret.
