"While we couldn't get in contact with most of them since they were out on quest, we managed to corner a couple, and most of them had the same thing to say, basically that he was a dumbass and terrible to work with. Seemed a bit at odds with the villager reports, but we trust these folks for a reason and they were pretty uniform in their opinion, so we decided to do the usual schtick and evaluate him in the field. Contact went pretty smoothly; it helped that we actually had stuff in the region that needed taking care of, so it was easier for Darad and I to claim to be 'simple adventurers.'"
