I had to, I'm a bit phantom obsessed at the moment
originally I was just going to draw the Phantom but then I though it would be better to draw a scene, the scene when Christine takes off the Phantom's mask. I uploaded the sketch on my tumblr msilenceart.tumblr.com/post/98β¦
No specific actors/actresses used as reference, and the phantom is a mix of what his description is in the original book and his depiction in the musical.
Since I'm also in the middle of reading Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera, Christine has a tough choice. In the musical I really like the phantom, (and it helps that he is usually played by a handsome actor with an awesome voice
while I don't like Raoul because he seems to not listen to her 
) but in the book they both seem to love her....although both are obsessive of her

I like the mood of this piece overall and the phantom's skin has a very cool texture!

Very nice! I like your design for the Phantom, it's very unique! Also, you drew Christine so beautifully, her fluffy dressing gown and her expression... And the detail on the candelabras! Overall, great job!!
