Description
Something a little different from my recent Naruto fanarts.This image came to mind so I decided to try to draw it. I'm very happy with how it came out. This is the first time I've bleeded the lineart so that it mixes with the colors better instead of the stark black lines. I quite like the end result.

It seems Naruto is disappearing from the inside out O_o (I don't know if that's the correct expression XD). He seems hurt... And this pose and his eyes give me the impression he's giving up on something...

I guess I was trying to convey desperation. I wanted his eyes to be asking "Why won't you save me?"

For this one...It seems more like a question. What his pulling him into the darkness? I love the uncertainty of how it's just black instead of purple (for Sasuke/Orochimaru) or Reddish-Orange (for Kyuubi) So you leave it up to the imagination. It could be a number of things, cause now in the series, this are starting to become very dark. Your picture is expressing that quite well.
For presentation...the way the colors look to me is good...and the way you have the darkness on him is cooler than if you had it going from his feet up. This makes it look like the darkness is part of him and it's what's separating him, not engulfing him. I need to stop getting so deep. XD <333

technically, the black was inspired by spiderman/venom. I didn't want to give off the impression that some other force (orochimaru, akatsuki, kyuubi) where causing him to sink.
