Some characters you just want to protect and spare them any misery you can. For me that's Elizabeth and Ellie.

This is one of the best portraits of Elizabeth I've ever seen. She looks like she's trying to smile, and failing badly. And the leaves blowing around her 'show' the wind, the winds of change maybe? It makes me very sad, in a good way
