Wow! This I like better. It is right up my street, or collonade as the case may be.
I like the texture in the columns, the height they give and the way the curve of the ceiling pulls you through.
I also think this makes more of the subject, with the still contemplation of the woman in the foreground compared to the bustle behind.

This is so much better, Ang. The depth and curve added by the columns is wonderful. I understand what you were trying to do with the blur, but the separation already exists in the original, the figure sits in the strongest bar of light between the columns shadows. This is class!

BTW My daughter visited the Vatican on a school trip... she took pictures of pigeons. One of her videos, her and a couple of classmates saying, "So, this is the Vatican. What's the big deal?"

I had the other version opened and was just about to comment when you subbed this one and for me Ang,you made a sound choice cos this is by far the better image
I love to see those fine architecture details and the reactions of surrounding people and that of course was totally lost in v1.0
