The Night before Liberty

Twas the night before liberty, the private defended his base.
Not a soldier was stirring, as he turned about face.
The Aliens watched from their spaceship with care.
In hopes their Magic Cheese had to be there.
The site of the saucer filled the private with dread.
They're going to suck out my brains, after they bore holes in my head!!
The Abducto Beam grabbed him, he struggled but it didn't matter.
This wouldn't be easy for them, if I was simply much fatter.
The soldier shuttered in fear, right down to his socks.
The aliens were dogs named Crypto and Pox!!
Where's our Magic Cheese the Pomeranian commanded,
Or we'll make you our slave by the time we have landed!!
The soldier fought bravely the way he was trained,
But Crypto and Pox still scrambled his brain
The sentry stood blankly as he starred into space
The IQ of a golf ball was the look on his face
Pox looked at Crypto as he tried to explain
I've downloaded everything out of his brain!!
He doesn't know where our cheese is that much is true
Now the dogs weren't certain of what they should do.
So off to the forest they flew like a shot.
And abducted a timber wolf right there on the spot.
Will give him the soldiers brain make him smart, make him cute.
A talking Timber wolf, now that'll be a hoot!!!
Pox laughed gleefully as he pulled the switch!!
As the wolf and soldier started to twitch
The wolf opened his eyes and began to get up
Then opened his mouth and refused to shut up!!
I'm Trooper Timberwolf, now let me be clear
Release us immediately or I'll give you something to fear!!!
Trooper looked at the private he was aged, he was bald!!
Look what you've done I'm simply appalled!!!
Say something soldier and make yourself known.
When he started to speak, it was clear a fuse had been blown!!
Trooper looked at the dogs he took such a fit
Look what you've done, he's now dimly Lit!!!
Crypto and Pox backed up in a fright
As Trooper lunged for the dogs, itching to fight!!
The wolf punched and bit and started to pound.
Take us back to our base!! Put us back on the ground!!!
Crypto landed the saucer, they had no other choice.
What a mistake giving Trooper a voice!!!
