Meet my latest piece of digital art: Trace - أثر.

I chose to go with a simple composition and a limited-color palette, and I decided to keep the man's outlines, after I removed all the rest, despite their darkness and thickness as I wanted to take him out of his surroundings, depicting his loneliness and occupying thoughts.
The idea of the painting echoes a text that is said to have been written on a Paris Metro mural (1999).

He was so lonelyIn that desertOccasionally he would walk backwardsTo see in front of him some traces
