This is my first critique so bear with me 😊
This is incredibly detailed and beautiful. I really love the flow and the animation of your little critters. I especially like the little white face creature hovering by the bonsai tree; he seems to have a lot of expression in his little face.
Anyone can see the painstaking detail you put into this.
The only somewhat negative thing I could think to say is maybe add a larger main focus item because there is so many lovely things to look at not one thing immediately draws my eye.
Impressive work,
Eliza

This is a FANTASTIC and amazingly detailed approach to H.P. Lovecraft's Dreamland Cycle. The amount of detail in the carving is mindblowing. To make this out of a wooden tablet is a great effort and no small feat. But you have succeeded in such a stunning way that the entire effect is seamless and seems easy, natural, and stunning.
Admittedly, when I first saw it, I thought it was something inspired by "Adventure Time" as some of the creatures look like that. But I was overjoyed when I read that it was a "Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" piece as I am a Lovecraft fan (as you may notice from the people I watch, the things I comment and favorite on, and what is in my gallery).
All I can say is that this is one of the most stunning pieces of artwork I have ever seen.

Thank you so much! I also love Adventure Time, I think a lot of the things that influenced AT influenced me too hence the similar style. Obviously I'm a huge fan of Lovecraft too, The Dreamland Cycle blew me away with its scale.

Yeah, its a shame "Kadath" is so overlooked.

I don't know where to start since there's so much going on in this piece. Despite there being so much detail to it I don't feel like it's cluttered, instead it's like I'm watching a story unfold.
The different colored wood helps to create this world, giving it depth and making each character seem more unique!

This is so amazing! To see that someone could get this much inspiration from a book series is to see that I need to read it. XD
I love the amount of detail in the piece, and the style is something reminiscent of Adventure Time, though not quite. Awesome, awesome work!!!
