Well done, its just unfortunate how much banding is on the umbrella and parts of the dress. Such are the limitations of inkscape. Perhaps some additional filters on the shading in certain parts may help.

Thanks! I really pushed inkscape to its limits there. I went nuts figuring out how to lessen the banding. I just hope that the later versions of inkscape would have solved the banding problems and give the damn gradient mesh. XD

I can only imagine, zooming in on too much blur caused a lot of lag and instability on my pc. Its always impressive to see work like this done with inkscape.

Yes! The lag kills me! But I found a way to reduce the lag by dividing the color layer into sublayers and making the part I work on the only visible one on the work area. ^_^
