Description For the centriiost project. PV of Garren an oceletii
This is one really bad photo job ><
No access to scanner and I have no photoshop skills aside from using it for cging.
So alot of details are lost here.
He is relatively young with a developing body, shorter chest with a small handsome face and large ears. I'm super proud of his spots, all handdrawn individually and have their own distinctive shape including three close rosettes on his inner thigh.
His tail is supposed to be braided but i dunno if it suits him. i much prefer the sleek thick tail of the ocelot.....
and his toes look nice too. his right hand is slightly shaded black around the fingers.

art belongs to me. i'll scan in a nicer version along with the full character sheet when i finish it and have a scanner

I have been silently hoping for better scan and I did not really notice that more than a month had passed.

Hard to tell about the ears and the "beard" and the spots on the inner thigh. Tail could stay the way it is, but I did have more in mind a double or tripple weave for each little loose/thin braid among themselves along the tail and then for the end of each one to hang loose from the base interweaving. Length is unlimited.

I don't care for long legs myself, but many 8 and 9 year-olds seem to me to have long legs. Garren is about 15 here, but long legs for the ocellotii as a sub-specie of the Minaoian race are fine. I think that real ocelots have kind of short legs, though. Don't they? That was the impression I got from a few photos, anyway.

The full CDSS is welcome anytime...

unfortunately i dont have a scanner here ^^'''''
hence all the latest pieces are awaiting scan.

do you mean for the tail for each braid to be weaved together? it'll be too small to see on the body so i can draw a close up version of the tail for future references.

ocelots have shorter legs but it'll look awkward on an anthro. do you want to keep him as he is or to shorten his legs?

Tail fur grown long, parted into clumps and braided. Then the braids are woven from their base among each other for about 1/3rd t-o 1/2 their common length, probably down the tail, perhaps up it just to be deviant and unusual. The remaining length of each braid hangs free. That is about as descriptive as I can get. Just and idea. Whatever you settle on will be fine and another artist can use this specific concept for another character, perhaps.

The happy medium would be if you gave him - and thereby most of the rest of the Ocellotii - more proportionate legs. Perhaps legs this long are better for the Keetahii?

From what I can see, he looks good. The dimension you were going for look good, but I think the chest might be TOO short (I know it's supposed to be, tho). I love the nice long legs.

i have a hard time drawing males, their dimensions always look weird. i do hope the commissioner would like it tho ^^
