ahhhhhhhhhhhh.I don't think I can explain to you how happy I am with these pictures...
I finally got my sister to let me take some pictures of her, she looks so grown up I can't stand it.
When I shot these I had tiny heartattacks...GODDAMN shes beautiful.
And those eyes....manoman.
I love her.

she really does have stunning eyes. those, along with the headbands, add such a nice little pop of color amongst the brown hair and background, so that it's bright without overdoing it. awesome work!

I wish I had the same results when MY sister finally broke down and let me take pictures of her.
Even when she does, she doesn't co-operate... and she just makes goofy faces that don't work with that I'm going for.

I am constantly trying to bargain with her to get her to let me have a photo "sesh". She should just automatically let me do it, I think, 'cause I'm constantly driving her around to where she needs to go and whatnot, but it's always a big fight.

what you could try if you'd be willing to comprimise is let her do her clothes and makeup and hair etc.... and then you do the pictures.
that might make her more comfortable with the whole thing...?

It's not that she's not comfortable... She's just a brat, 'cause my parents let her get away with anything whereas they've always been rather strict with my older brother and I. She's the baby so she GETS babied.

Haha, yeah. I usually take photos of more naturesque stuff... I don't think that's a word, but I'm sure you get what I mean. But I really want to get better at portrait photography... but I can't do that without practise.
