It reminds me of Nightmare Before Christmas, all Tim Burton-y.

It was quite rainy, much like today,
Too mucky and yucky to go out and play.
My Mother had gone to the grocery store,
While I was bored and left indoors.
The lights had popped and it was dark,
(This part's no walk in the park.)
Sister was scared and so was I,
I patted her head, told her not to cry.
When all of a sudden, I gazed at the floor.
Glowing white eyes had appeared at the door.
The dark white eyed figure had smashed the door flat.
In his hand was a cane, on his head was a hat.
He looked like a cat, or a tall skinny freak.
I yelped a big yelp, my sister, a shreik.
"The sun ain't shinin' whoop-dy-doo
We can still have fun, and lots of it too!"
He juggled some silverware, a couple of blocks,
When finally, he pulled out a humoungous box.
"Now these are my buddies, they really like fun.
The Masters of Mischeif, Thing 2 and Thing 1!"
Why his friends were boxed up, I didn't ask why,
so I didn't ask, he didn't reply.
They broke up a vase, and stole all moms money,
I don't know what this was, but it sure ain't funny.
I said to get out. To get out and stay,
He looked at me, and laughed " No way!
It's too much fun, and you're still little peeps.
Lets make a mess, and I'll clean for my keep!"
This reminded me of my favorite book
by Dr. Seuss, which he also took.
I took his hat right off his head,
and then I stated " Now go to bed!"
If nonsense won't get him, then nothing will
So my sister and I moved in on the kill.
I rubbed a banana all over the mat,
and put itching powder in his hat.
" You guys are crazy, c'mon Things lets scat,
you won't see this feline, and you won't see his hat!"
As Mom walked in, and saw such a mess
She looked as though asking, and we both confessed.
The cat left his cane and a whole wig of hair,
so I gave it to my uncle, I do love to share.
I still see the cat, he's in my nightmares
But I see him so much, that I don't even care...

a very Nightmare Before Christmas twist in my opinion I LUV IT for one, and for thing two.... AWESUM! the cat is going to give me nightmares with his malnourished thinness and his whiskers and that devilish evilish crooked smile of his =] LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUV it!!!
