Description
While on a scouting mission over northern Africa with suspicions of a felsenion base being located there, six Eurofighter jets were flying over clouds as they spotted giant rockets lift up above them and continue into the sky. They instantly recognised the felsenion technology and were given clearance to attempt to intercept them by ground control, but they sat there in silence. As the rockets rose into the darkness, they didn't even dare look for the launch site, they turned back and went back to base. The lead pilot reported "It was a spectacular site. But we knew that the battle had already been lost. If they are able to launch ships into space without worrying about the enemy, we might as well surrender."The reason the felsenions launched three rockets into space at once was unknown to all the other nations at the time. The reason was that they wanted to hide a space station. At the time of the launch, a large asteroid was making a close pass by earth, this was their target. They would break up the asteroid with asteroid miners, and force the smaller rocks into the earths orbit, but they would not be big enough to become moons, they would be so small they would resemble Saturns rings. By giving the earth rings, they could easily hide a space station amongst the rings without any suspicion of everyone else. This would not affect the earth enough that around the equator there would be a massive shadow cast across, because the rings would be just thin enough for all the light to pass through with only a few minor shadows, that would constantly move as the day continued. Therefore no long lasting effects. This would also benefit the felsenions as no other nation on earth could advance in space technology as well as they can for a long time, the rings would make it increasingly difficult to launch rockets unless the rocket was incredibly advanced, and along with that the telescopes on the earth would have trouble seeing through the rings, this would not effect the felsenions though, as they have already got entire systems of telescopes positioned on the moon and around earths orbit.
While being a strategical advantage, it would also give a beautiful view at night.
