First of all, I suppose, according to you, that we should just give the terrorists a slap on the wrist and forget about it, right? I don't know if you remember, oh I don't know...about 3 years ago when said terrorists blew up the World Trade Center? This might just be me, but I think that's why we overthrew the Taliban/ Al-Qaida. It's sending a very clear message that if you mess with the United States, it's gonna bite you in the ass. It is what Bush has been saying since this damn conflict began. It's not our fault that terrorists still want to kill us. On to Saddam. Well, if Saddam did nothing wrong, then let's just let him go. Oh, wait, he did do something wrong. Something VERY wrong. He was guilty of numerous war crimes, disregarding the Geneva Convention, killing countless civilians, and having a chemical/ nuclear weapons program, refusing to disarm. If you want to think like a narrow minded conspiracy theorist, that's fine, but just know that spouting out such heinous remarks just shows that you have no idea what you are talking about. It also reinforces the fact that you watch a little too much CNN/ other liberally biased news programs.

I think that muddytool is right - Boristheblade, your being overly aggressive here - i think your entitled to your opinion, but you have no rigt to 'shame' anyone for what they believe - sure, if the person believes that killing babies is fun, then shun them all you want, but for a political belief such as the one muddytool is expressing, i dont think your harsh comments and generally overly heated and forceful attitude towards his work is not anything to be proud of - unless you have something constructive to say, dont say anything at all.
On another note, good work Muddytool - being an australian, i have a fairly negative attitude towards Bush (not one of hatred, but Im fairly confident it isnt a good attitude) ...I personally think that the war wasn't necessary - as Boris the blade said, a slap on the wrist may not have been sufficient to express america's grief to the enemy and the world, but the equivalent of 'lawful mass murder' in the search of a small group of men isn't necessary either, despite the horrific experience that was september 11....
anyway - im going to leave the politics to you guys - just wanted you both to know how i felt in regards to this.
