Well, I just felt like drawing him again. I mean... he's so cool after all. But I don't want my dark link to have stupid white hair and tan skin. No, I want him a SHADE man. You know, a real SHADOW of the hero. Not some fleshy dude.Anyway, I think I'm mostly proud of his legs... haha.
Done in mechanical pencil. That's pretty much it.
Good Image to color... XD.

I dislike how most of the Shadow Link pictures have him as some person...he was much more intimidating in games as a black form in the shape of Link/one with red eyes. It's grotesque, unhuman. Much scarier. Good work!

Heh... those guys were freaky. This guy, however is based off the dark link in Ocarina of Time you have to fight. But, I guess they are pretty much teh same... lol

This is great - I like how you did the tail of his hat - it looks all ethereal, which of course really adds to him being a shade (personally my favorite way of portraying him, though I've seen the other way turn out well, too).

I don't know what's with me and making his clothes all swirl like, but after I a while it sort of stayed with him when I drew him. Nobody else did it like that, so... I guess it's the thing I do. lol.

To me, it makes him look cheezy and un-scary when he is something that can be relatable to reality. Frankly, that makes him less of an enemy than what he is in the game.
Either way, the dark look always suites him better in my opinion.

Meh, hot link in black is so over-rated in my opinion. Like I said to another person, I don't like him being relatable. It makes him too soft. He's not a person, nor is he really anyone in particular. He's a shade, Link's Shadow, or even Link's evil side.
That's like... my logic on the subject, but things change when you RP... lol.

I agree on that logic =O Dark Link isn't anything even NEAR to some kind of hot-stuff-evil-seducer alter-ego...which is what much fan art seems to do >.> it's a fun thing to play with, sure, but definitely firmly "AU" and "not canon" in mah brain, and not anything I'd ever like...write about or draw with that viewpoint n it O.o
Him as a monster/shade/symbol of Link's inner villain is definitely MUCH more real, to me. And much more stirring, thought-provoking, terrifying, intriguing...all around more pwn 8O
Though less sexy >.> but our world is bombarded with sexiness, I don't mourn the loss XD
