Ah, I was waiting for this question.

In Rose's stories, the Gerudo give markings to people to claim them for different purposes.

Giving someone a Black mark means that the Gerudo who marked said person is the only one allowed to kill them.Other colors mean other things, but the Color of yellow is a Gerudo's way to say to her sisters that this particular person is off limits romance wise. Kind of like. "Okay, this man/woman is mine and for me alone until I take this marking off."

The marking is not visible, it's just a verbal promise to other sisters.

That might reveal a few things. *Wink wink*

Ooooooh hey I didn't know that! Rose never said it on tumblr! And trust me, I've read all her tumblr posts from BEGINNING TO END for TLC, KM and RR. And some of TWR. Or maybe I'm just blind
Anyway, this explains why it's called like that.

Yeah, Link is in his 30's in this story, and Pink is 16.

Needless to say, Link and Pink's Mum were quite young when they had her.

Hey, people got married quite young back in the day, so it's only logical to assume it applies to their universe as well. Not to mention stressful wartime situations always lead to some form of lovemaking as well.

The thing is, I'm not keen on the details myself. I'm probably going to have to ask Rose, just so my comic isn't too far off the beaten path. I'm certain they were not married. If they did become married, I do not know...

FINALLY. Even if it was in fanfiction, they actually did get together and it's believable! is totally glossing over the fact he killed her
