This is a really well-done piece of art, but it is kind of funny because it looks like it was done on a brown paper napkin.

This sorta reminds me of my Sister and I. We love tea, And her favorite animal is the Badger, And mine is the Kitsune. ( ^ o ^ )

I like it! I think it's exactly as it should be.
A couple of years ago I saw a netsuke of a Japanese badger (anaguma?) in full court dress. I really wanted it, but the price was immense.

Thanks <^-^>yep....anaguma...I'm usually more associated with the classic meles meles via the UK though, but yuo gotta love the beautful anaguma coloration.....I wish I had the money for some of the beautiful netsuke I've seen ...*sigh*...LOVE your work by the way..

Well, the Euro badger is indeed an elegant critter.
In my experience, being an artist tends to make you vulnerable to art; the beauty of things gets to you, and sometimes you hate to let them go by.
